Rural Connectivity Online Mini Symposium
Each year since 2015 TUANZ has hosted a full day symposium sharing issues and ideas about rural connectivity, that is until 2020 when they went online due to the COVID pandemic.
Unfortunately again in 2021 they’ve had to change our plans and are going online for a shorter update on how important connectivity is to rural Aotearoa in these times of lockdowns and pandemic impacts.
Speakers will include the Hon David Clark, Minister for the Digital Economy & Communications, Dr Jo Scott Jones, Mike Smith from WISPA and representatives from Rural Women NZ, Federated Farmers and Vodafone.
Andrew Cushen and Raniera Albert from InternetNZ will be MC’s for the event.
Join to hear just how important connectivity is for our rural communities especially in these challenging times of a continued pandemic and subsequent lock downs.
