2014 RNZCGP Workforce Survey released

New Zealand’s general practitioner workforce needs to grow to meet the healthcare needs of its communities according to a workforce survey report released today by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.

“We have made good progress in the last couple of years and we have further opportunities to increase the intake for general practitioner training with more medical graduates coming out of New Zealand’s two medical schools,” said College President Dr Tim Malloy.
