This dermatoscopy symposium is an interactive two-day course designed specifically for GPs and will take you from “zero to hero” (no pre-requisite course is required). It is fully accredited by the Royal UK and NZ College of GPs. The international speaker is Professor Cliff Rosendahl from the University of Queensland and is the co-author of ‘Chaos and Clues’ and ‘Prediction without Pigment’. These algorithms will provide you with quick, easy and safe ways to decide which lesions can be left and which require further action. Cliff will be ably joined by Professor Amanda Oakley. Feedback from hundreds of attendees (surgeons, GPs and nurses) on average have rated the symposiums a 4.7/5. A complimentary MoleScope II dermatoscope (worth $440 +GST) is also on offer to all delegates.
The one-day surgical workshop will be taught by senior general and plastic surgeons. It is fully accredited by the Australasian College of Surgeons. You will be placed into small groups (about 6-8) of colleagues with similar experience. The content will be tailored to your group’s needs. Everything from the basics of an elliptical excision to advanced flaps are catered for. A free take home surgical training kit will be provided to all participants containing simulated skin, lots of sutures, and a surgical equipment set (valued at $200).
